	Concept A gathering of players portraying an Italian noble household with their household staff. The Valentino family, headed by Baron Demarco Valentino, is committed to hospitality, the musical arts and games of strategy. These celebrities of Florence see everyone as part of the Red Barony, whether or not they have admitted it yet. Despite the obvious political reasons for attending the fair, the Red Court has taken this trip as an opportunity for leisure, shopping, novelty and gossip. Shows Tales of love and honor highlighting those genteel and noble actions which the members of the Red Court display. These stories are frequently based on fairytales from the renaissance period and may also include the tales of past Red Barons and their many family members. Historical Context Venice, Italy was part of the cradle of the Renaissance movement that gave rise to such provocative and influential people as Da Vinci, Machiavelli, Galileo, the Medici family, Dante and Brunelleschi. The patronage of the upper class allowed these geniuses to explore the outermost limits of their talents thereby igniting a revolution in science and the humanities that reshaped all of Europe.
